Our Stars
Our shop employs some of the STARS participants themselves via a job skills program and runs smoothly thanks to volunteer and employee support. 
Our History
For more than fifty years, the STARS Ministry of College Church in Wheaton has come alongside people with developmental disabilities, ministering to them and their families with the love of Jesus. Over 130 families now participate in some aspect of the STARS ministry. 

 


Our Mission

The STARS Resale Shop is completely run on the generous donations of people in the community. 100% of the proceeds stay right here in Wheaton to support the Stars Family Services, especially in support of building permanent residential homes for the STARS. Although the success of the first of our homes, the "Washington House," has been a great testimony to God's faithfulness, the Board has already identified 39 STARS who will need housing within the next 5 years. We are so grateful to announce the opening of a women's home called Hooten House and another men's home called Kenny's House. We're thankful for your generous support of the STARS ministry.
